We believe in taking a holistic approach when working with our clients and developing financial plans.

When working with new clients, we look for individuals who can provide us with insight into their financial goals and aspirations, both long-term and short-term. This allows us to develop an in-depth plan that’s tailored to your unique needs and circumstances.

When beginning a new client relationship, we take a 5-step approach:

1. Get to Know You
Get to Know YouWe start with a discovery meeting. At the end of this session, we’ll both have a good idea as to whether we’ll be comfortable working together. You will tell us all about your financial situation and what you’re looking for, and then we’ll share our planning process, the range of products and services we offer, define our mutual responsibilities, and then agree on compensation.
2. Develop a Plan
Develop a PlanYour financial details – goals, cash flow needs and tax issues – are the basis of your customized plan. Together, we’ll define your financial resources and obligations, financial priorities, time horizons and risk tolerance. We then analyze your current investment portfolio and its key components: asset allocation, sector concentration, risk exposure and tax efficiency.
3. Present the Plan
Present the PlanWe’ll present your customized plan to you, explain our recommendations, and address any questions or concerns you may have.
4. Monitor Your Plan
Monitor Your PlanWealth planning isn’t a one-time event. We’ll meet regularly to discuss the impact of tax and economic changes, review actual performance against your objectives, identify what’s still appropriate and what needs to be reworked.
5. Manage Change
Manage ChangeVolatile markets- and significant life changes – make people anxious. Our role is to offer you insight and reassurance, particularly at times when emotion threatens to take the place of common sense. Together, we’ll assess the situation and discuss whether to adjust your plans if changes are called for. We ensure that the plan is executed in an orderly way, consistent with your long-term goals.
